My Sweetie's Valentine Card!

Ok, I gave my Sweetheart his Valentine Card, so now you can see what it looks like! :-) I'll also be posting some pictures of cards you all have sent me soon! I've only received one so far, so will wait a bit longer in case anyone else wants to send theirs!

I used the DSP from the 'Mocha Morning Specialty' and 'Neutrals Patterns' Designer Series paper sets, which I think are so versatile. Mixed with Crumb Cake and Early Espresso, it makes quite the masculine card. :-) I also love the new 'Designer Frames' embossing folders, which are available as a FREE item in the Sale-A-Bration catalog, so make sure to order yours! :-) They are great!

Here's my Sweetie's Valentine card! Hope it inspires you!

Stampin'Up! items used:
Poppy Parade, Crumb Cake and Early Espresso card stock, DSP listed above, Designer Frames and Houndstooth embossing folders, Hemp twine,  I Heart Hearts stamp set, and the Poppy Parade and Early Espresso Stampin' Write markers.

Weirdly Winter

Are all of you having as mild of a Winter as we are here in Virginia? It's been mostly in the 50's and 60's!! ......Until last Saturday, when a freakish winter storm blew through......complete with blowing snow (40mph) winds and thunder and lightning. It was incredible! The ground and cars were covered in less than 10 minutes! It left as quick as it came, and by Monday we were back in the 50's. Woke to sunny skies and about a half inch of snow coverage. Kids were stoked!! They decided to spoon snow off the table outside and pour Sierra Mist over it before taking a bite! lol. Home-made slushy-on-a-spoon, I guess. :-)

Here's some pics of the playful (and cold) kiddos!

Fun had by all! It looked beautiful and I think I might have had my fill of Winter's temps that weekend! :-)

Happy Valentine's Day!!

Happy Valentine's Day to my Sweetheart and to my wonderful family members and friends!! :-) I love you all very much! Hope you all enjoy a day full of memories with your Sweeties and are high on love and chocolate by the days end. :-)

As you can guess, I HAD to design a card for my Sweetie......BUT, you'll have to wait for another day to have a glimpse at it! I can't chance him seeing it here, before he has it in hand! So, I'll post a really simple card that I designed the other day using a new stamp set out of the Mini Occasions catalog. It's a tea set called "Tea Shoppe", but you'll see that I used the tea cups as 'Hot Chocolate' cups so you can see how versatile the set can be. :-) I love pink and brown together so it came together nicely.

Now, I'd LOVE to see the cards you have all made for your Sweetie's this Valentines Day!! If you'd like to e-mail me pictures of them, I'll take a day to showcase your cards here!! Just e-mail them to stamp2create@verizon.net and I'll be sure to post them soon!! Please include your name so I can give you credit for your card design! :-)

Here's the stamp set "Tea Shoppe" and the "Large Lace Punch" used for the border. The Designer Series paper used is from the Mini Occasions catalog called "Twitterpated".....beautiful paper! I'll be posting another card soon where you will see more of the designs in this pack!

So......hope you enjoy!!
